One of the Yahoo groups I'm in does a weekly ATC hobnob. This week's theme is Yin & Yang. I chose to use metal & wood. The metal is light aluminum and the wood is a veneer insert that was inside one of DH's cigar boxes. It's a very simple ATC, but I like how that simplicity seems to strengthen the elements & put the focus on them.

You are right. The simplicity makes this piece. Sometimes I think it is much more difficult to be simple than to garishly add doodads and what-nots to our work.
Simple has a tendancy to have the most to say. I think you captured the spirit perfectly!

You've expressed the essence of the Yin/Yang symbol in it's simplicity and deep wisdom. The card looks like it could be a good meditative piece in a shrine! Love it!
