Yesterday I was treated to several visits from a goldfinch. Although it's our state bird here in Iowa, I've not seen very many of them. I was delighted to discover it likes the new seed in the feeder. The photo isn't very sharp, but isn't this feathered friend a gorgeous yellow? When s/he flies across your line of sight, you see it!

Gosh I have been behind on visiting blog buddies! It was so nice to hear from you. Sounds like you have been very busy and I've had fun catching up a bit. I wish we had the city-wide garage sale - the deadline of helping a community project can't be put off as easily. I might actually get my garage cleaned out! And, think of the treasures one could find going there! Hope it all goes well.
The goslings are just as cute as can be! I'd have a hard time working with such adorable little creatures to peek at all day.
